AR AIMS AP Science Fall Conference Workshop  October 2 & 3, 2023
The AR AIMS Advanced Placement Fall Conference Workshop will be held October 2 & 3, 2023.  This workshop is for teachers of AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Environmental Science, or AP Physics 1. We have an exciting slate of state and nationally recognized presenters scheduled to provide content, strategies, and the latest updates in their AP field. You will receive more information about specific content that will be covered in each session as we get closer to the workshop date.

REGISTRATION FEES: AR AIMS Schools $400 and Non-AR AIMS Schools $500
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: September 22, 2023
LATE REGISTRATION: After September 22, 2023, registration will increase by $25 per participant and are nonrefundable.

While Arkansas AIMS is not responsible for lodging or facilities for the participant, the hotel has created a link for easy access to reservations. Lodging is your preference, and there are many hotels in the surrounding area. Four Points Hotel Reservations  

NOTE: Participants who attend both the Fall 2023 AR AIMS AP Science Fall Conference Workshop and the 2024 AP Science Spring Mock Reading Workshop will receive a $50 registration discount on the spring workshop registration.

To cancel a registration, participants MUST email Tanya Ruble at tlruble@ualr.edu with participant name and content area. Registrations received after September 22, 2023 are nonrefundable; however, participant substitutions can be made by emailing Tanya Ruble no later than September 29, 2023.

Lunch and snacks will be provided by AR AIMS. Lodging is not provided. Please note: The Four Points does not provide breakfast; however, there is a restaurant on site. 

ADE allows AP teachers to receive their 5 year AP "renewal" by attending the AR AIMS Fall AP Workshop AND the AP Spring Mock Reading Workshop. You must attend both workshops in the same school year for this renewal. (Note: New AP teachers must attend an APSI for their initial content endorsement.) This workshop does not provide Pre-AP endorsement.
