Know Your Rights: Civil Disobedience Training
This session provides training on how to prepare for and participate in protests, as well as how to respond if you or someone you know is arrested. If you have further questions on the Know Your Rights training, please reach out to Lindsay Mitnik at mitnik.l@northeastern.edu.
Legal Observer Training
A Legal Observer is trained to bear witness to protest events to protect the rights of everyone involved. Legal Observers document events in order to provide notes and an account of what happened in case a protester needs legal representation. Legal Observers do not participate in protests; they observe and document. You do not need to be a law student or an attorney in order to serve as a Legal Observer.  *PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS TRAINING REQUIRES A SIGNED CONFIDENTIALITY FORM IN ADVANCE.* (We will send it to you via email!) If you have further questions on Legal Observer training, please reach out to Morgan O'Grady at ogrady.mo@northeastern.edu.
