Jackson Heights Community Fridge: Volunteers!
hello! THANK YOU, neighbor, for wanting to volunteer to take care of our community fridge! We look out for one another and this is all hands on deck

For now, please fill out the following form so we can have your info in hand. As we organize logistics, we'll be reaching out -- volunteering can look like anything from:

- canvassing to local grocery stores letting them know there's a fridge
- speaking to neighbors about the fridge
- flyering around the hood
- translating into our 100s of languages
- picking up food at grocery stores or food share locations or other fridge families
- cleaning out the fridge
- picking up an AM or PM fridge shift to just peek and check that it's OK, discarding any waste, and reporting back to the group

With a community, no one person will be tasked with too much! We share the labor and love. Example: with enough people in the fridge fam, one person could just have one Tuesday morning shift every other week to check up on the fridge.
