Event Coordinator:
- Plans and coordinates convention logistics.
- Liaises with presenters, vendors, and venues.
- Manages event schedules and timelines.
Marketing/Public Relations Director: (filled)
- Develops and implements marketing strategies.
- Coordinates with treasurer for marketing budget.
- Manages social media and promotional activities.
- Coordinates press releases and media relations.
Diversity and Inclusion Officer:
- Ensures diversity in presenters and attendees.
- Promotes inclusivity and sensitivity in all aspects.
- Addresses diversity-related issues.
Community Engagement Director:
- Builds and maintains relationships with attendees.
- Manages community outreach programs.
- Gathers feedback and ensures community satisfaction.
Technology and IT Director:
- Oversees technical aspects of the convention(building the zoom schedule).
- Manages the discord Bots.
- Addresses technical issues during the event.
Volunteer Coordinator:
- Recruits and manages volunteers.
- Organises volunteer training.
- Ensures volunteers are assigned appropriate roles.
Education Selection Committee:
- Coordinates educational content.
- Goes through presenter and class proposals.
- Ensures a diverse range of educational offerings.
All other positions will be members of this committee unless opted out.
