Feedback on Relief School Draft
At the start of the 2023-24 school year, CMS will open a new elementary school which will provide relief for Hidden Valley, Newell, Grier, and Reedy Creek elementary schools. Some families in each of these schools will experience a change in assignment beginning with the 2023-24 school year. The new elementary school is located at 7515 The Plaza on the Northridge Middle School campus in the current JW Grier ES attendance area. The Board is scheduled to vote on the new school’s attendance area on August 23, 2022.
The Planning Services Team seeks your feedback on the draft boundary scenario below. For additional information, previous materials, and upcoming engagement opportunities, please visit our website: https://www.cms.k12.nc.us/cmsdepartments/StudentPlacement/PlanningServices/Pages/Planning.aspx.
