Erasmus+ “OptimTex” project
Thanks for checking out the OptimTex survey. The survey’s aim is to understand the software applications in use in textile companies. This will guide us in creating a SWOT analysis to support the development of a guide for tech transfer of the OptimTex results.

Most questions are not obligatory to answer, and it should be possible to do this survey in 5 to 10 minutes.

We would like to ask for your contribution by participating in this study, helping us to characterize the connection between the textile industry and its use of specific software for the creation of new products.

About OptimTex:

This study is carried out under the Eramus+ “OptimTex” project, which is focused on improving the knowledge and skills of higher education students in the field of software applications for the textile sector, as well as employability within textile companies, providing the appropriate training tools for their profession, improving the competitiveness and efficiency of textile companies. The gap between the supply and demand of digitally qualified personnel is widening worldwide and therefore the future European strategy aims to support digitization in all areas, including education and training. The textile sector demands many textile workers with digital skills, such as designers of woven/knitted fabrics, knitting/embroidery machine programmers, clothing designers or textile experimental design researchers.
