TSD Educational Equity Council (TEEC) Application
TEEC will be meeting on a quarterly basis to:
1) increase knowledge of the equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) work throughout TSD, and
2) share best practices and resources to increase access, opportunity, and success for TSD youth.
We are seeking broad community participation to help us move our work forward in alignment with the TSD Strategic Plan, TSD Board Policies: Educational Equity (Policy ADB), Equal Educational Opportunities (Policy JB), and Non-Discrimination (Policy AC). We look forward to providing updates on district efforts and to gathering your constructive input on our efforts. TSD community, students, staff, families, and community members are invited to apply.

We will meet on a quarterly basis starting online on October 11, 2022 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. We will switch to an online or hybrid format if needed to address COVID-19 restrictions or based on needs of group participants. To ensure diverse representation, a small committee will choose 25 applicants from 1) a wide range of backgrounds and 2) diversity-affirming experience. Applications are due on September 30. Selected council members will receive the meeting invitation.

In the spirit of openness and transparency with our TSD community, we will be publishing the following information on the TSD Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) website related to chosen TEEC members:
**First and Last Name
**Group Representation (e.g. job classification within TSD, TSD family member, etc.)
**Racial/Ethnic Identity
