Hornets coaches will work with Bumblebee swimmers twice a week during the regular summer swim season. The goal is to encourage and develop swimming skills to improve strength, strokes and confidence in the water. The Bumblebees Jr Swim Team is a great introduction to summer swim and many Bumblebees "graduates" go on to join the Hornets swim team!
If your child does not know how to swim, is afraid to swim on their own, or is outside the normal age range for Bumblebees (4-7yrs old) please contact Andy at the club for information on lessons. info@hamiltonlakes.org
*Registration for Bumblebees is limited to 20 swimmers per session (Mondays & Wednesdays: Time Slot 1: 3:30-4pm or Time Slot 2: 4-4:30pm. If necessary, a waitlist will be created. Parents will be contacted when/if a spot becomes available.
*The first Bumblebee practice will involve an assessment to determine if your child is ready for Bumblebees. If the coaches decide your child needs lessons before joining Bumblebees, Hamilton Lakes will refund your money or transfer it to the cost of swim lessons.
*The Bumblebees fee is $50 per swimmer. If you withdraw after practices have begun, we will refund your fee minus a percentage, depending on when you withdraw.
*Bumblebee JUNE session practices start June 5th at Hamilton Lakes and end with a MOCK MEET on June 28th during your time slot.
*Bumblebees will have 2 time slots. Space is limited to 20 swimmers for each session:
Option 1: Monday and Wednesday 3:30-4pm
Option 2: Monday and Wednesday 4-4:30pm
*Bumblebees
will have a Mock Bumblebee ONLY swim meet. Bumblebees DO NOT participate in official swim meets or City Meet.
*Bumblebees will
not be part of Early Season Swim.
*Bumblebees do
not need to purchase team suits or caps. Any swimsuit will work.
