Lancer Dancers Pre-tryout Clinic 2024

The Shawnee Mission East Lancer Dancers are offering a pre-tryout clinic for 6th, 7th and 8th graders. This clinic will offer you the chance to be taught by current team members on skills and techniques that will help you prepare for tryouts.

Please fill out the form below if you would like your dancer to participate. Feel free to forward this information to anyone in 6th-8th grade who might be interested. Thanks so much, and we hope to see you there!

CLINIC DATE: Wednesday, Feb 15th from 4:15-6:00 PM in the SME Dance Room.

Participants will learn about the dance team styles of Pom, Game Day, and Hip Hop. They will work on pom technique, spiriting, and learn our school Fight Song. They will also work on Hip Hop technique and learn a Hip Hop combination from a current Lancer Dancer routine. Please wear dance clothes, tennis shoes, and bring a water bottle.

PAYMENT INFORMATION:

COST: $15 - cash, check, or venmo accepted. Please bring cash or check with you the day of the clinic or Venmo @smelancerdancers. Please make checks payable to SME Lancer Dancer Booster Club. Please put your dancer's name in the memo/notes for checks and venmo payments. Thanks!

All clinics are fundraisers for our team to benefit our Lancer Dancers Booster Club. Thank you for helping us with our team expenses!
