BCPS Device Take Home Agreement
At BCPS, we encourage all of our students to keep learning all summer long so they can start the new school year ready to succeed! To help make a summer of learning even more exciting, we’re offering great prizes including gift cards and goodie bags to students who participate in the Bearcat Summer Excellence Challenge, a self-driven challenge to stay engaged with learning over the summer!

Students who participate in the Summer Excellence Challenge can keep their Chromebooks for the summer by filling out this form. If you complete this form by June 3rd, 2021, you can take your Chromebook home on the last day of school. If you complete this form after June 3rd, a BCPS staff member will be in contact with you shortly to coordinate picking up a Chromebook. This form indicates whether you will be checking out a Chromebook for the summer and verifies that guardians may be held responsible for lost or damaged devices.

Students participating in summer school DO NOT need to check out a device. Students who wish to complete asynchronous summer activities from home, may use a personal device or check out a Chromebook from their home building.

In the event of a damaged or lost device, students must report the issue to the tech department IMMEDIATELY by calling (269) 213-3563. They may then swap out their device at the tech department or in a designated location. To schedule an appointment to swap out a device, guardians should call (269) 213-3563 Mon - Fri between 8:30 - 4:00.
