The Early College Opportunities (ECO) High School provides students a small learning community, an academically rigorous educational experience, and an opportunity to earn free college credits.

With a foundation of career and technology readiness, ECO strives to create strong leaders, entrepreneurs and artisans through engaging and innovative hands-on educational opportunities. By establishing a culture of excellence through high aspirations and personal expectations, our diverse life-long learners will lead the charge in established and emerging fields. ECO students will use critical thought and emotional intelligence to be service-minded citizens in Santa Fe and the global community.

We engage students in career pathways in automotive technology, auto collision repair, construction trades, and welding & fabrication, construction technologies, and architectural design / CAD with an emphasis on cultivating our community's future business leaders. However, students have the opportunity to pursue other college and career pathways personalized to their interests as well. Students are encouraged to find their passions and teachers are encouraged to shape the curriculum and teaching methods to fit student needs and interests. It is open to any high school-aged student in the district, and students who attend ECO can still participate in sports and other extracurricular activities at our traditional high schools.
