By becoming a member, you support our vision to ensure that recreation and outdoor places are valued as essential to healthy individuals and vibrant communities, and that every British Columbian has access to meaningful outdoor recreation experiences.

Approval of application & membership dues:
As per ORCBC’s Bylaws, an organization becomes a member after the Board of Directors has accepted the application, an invoice has been issued and dues have been paid. Membership dues are $192.00 for Provincial Organization Members and $96.00 for Regional Organization Members.

Designated Representative:
Each Organization Member is required to appoint an individual as its Designated Representative to represent it at ORC’s general meetings and to act as a contact person for communication with ORCBC. Organization Members are responsible for ensuring that a replacement is named if that person is no longer associated with the Member Organization.

Voting privileges:
Provincial Organization Members are entitled to vote on all matters at ORC’s general meetings. Regional Organization Members are entitled to vote at all ORCBC’s general meetings on all matters except the election of directors and amendments to bylaws.
