Remote Learning Support Program Rationale and Purpose

           We are keenly aware that some parents in our school community are in special situations which makes virtual learning practically impossible and/or lack the resources to ensure adult supervision during remote learning. This “remote learning support” environment at TES will accommodate a very limited number of students whose families have no other safe options.

           The Remote Learning Support Program will provide a supervised place for children whose families are unable to support a safe and productive remote learning environment. This program aims to support families with inflexible work arrangements, financial hardships, or other special circumstances that make remote learning practically impossible.

           The Remote Learning Support Program has a limited purpose. It is not designed to accommodate families who are able to have their children at home or in another care setting to do remote learning. Instruction will still be delivered remotely. The Program can accommodate only a limited number of students.
