Additional Information About Becoming a Bus Driver
**Testing and Behind-the-Wheel Training**

On the 3rd day, there will be a 4-part test - you must pass all four parts of the test to be eligible for behind-the-wheel training.  In addition, you will be instructed to go to the NCDMV after class to obtain your CDL - Permit.  You must hold the Permit for at least 14 days before you are scheduled for your behind-the-wheel training.  Behind-the-wheel training is approximately three days, and scheduling of behind-the-wheel training is based on employment with Lincoln County Schools.

If you would like to review the CDL manual or the School Bus Handbook, please use the following links.  You do not need to print; you will receive your own in class.
