RULES AND REGULATIONS:
1. One team of three students from each school can participate in each category. One would be speaking ‘for’ and another ‘against’ the motion on the topic given. The third one will be the interjector.
2. The schools would have to register on the link latest by 20th July 2022
3. Maximum 8 minutes time would be allotted to each school i.e. 3 minutes for each participant to speak for the motion, 3 minutes for each participant to speak against the motion and two minutes to the interjector. There will be a warning bell 15 seconds prior to the time allotted to each participant to sum up their deliberations. It shouldn’t cross the specified time limit which may lead to negative marking.
4. The parameters for judging the competition would be:
       a. Content Quality and Relevance          b.  Clarity of Speech      c. Creativity                                d. Confidence  e. Rebuttal   f. Over-all Performance.
(5 marks for each parameter) Total = 30 Marks.
5. The students would have to participate wearing their school uniform and wouldn't be allowed to use any reading material. There would be negative marking for the same.
6. There would be a panel of Jury Members to judge the competition and the decision of the jury would be final and binding on all the schools and the participants.
7. There is no participation fee and all the participants and the participating schools would be given participation certificates after the competition.
8. There would be three prizes for the competition. Winner Team, First Runner Up Team and Second Runner Up Team by the Sahodaya Group of CBSE Schools and Note-worthy Speaker (for), Note-worthy Speaker (against) and Best Interjector from IES Public School, Ratibad, Bhopal.
