Are you interested in a career as Bus Driver?

High Trees Community Development Trust are running a short preparation course to give learners the best chance to secure a job at ARRIVA!

Our two days on line preparation course offers a guaranteed interview for the job.

Training will take place on ZOOM on Thursday 29th of April from 10am to 3pm, with mock interviews taking place on Friday 30th of April (1 hour slot). Your first telephone interview guaranteed with ARRIVA will take place at beginning of May (dates may change deepening on ARRIVA availability)

Our preparation course is free for all 19+ London residents from the following boroughs: Lambeth, Wandsworth, Southwark and Croydon, who met the requirements below.

About ARRIVA vacancies:

South London Trainee Bus Driver: Full time (you will be working shift)
Full training provided if you have never drove a bus before. Access to the 'The Village', Cycle to Work Scheme, Employee Assistance Programme, Free Bus Travel, Free Travel on the TfL network, Free Uniform, Funded Learning and Development, Long Service Award

South London PCV Driver: Full time (you will be working shift)
Full training and Development; Free travel on all London Buses/ Underground/ DLR/ London Overground for you plus one

Overview of requirements to apply:

• Minimum of 18 years of age (DVLA Regulations)
• Manual license for Trainee applicant, Manual/automatic licence for PCV holders
• Driving License Holder for a minimum of 12 months
• 6 points or less on your driving license
• Fit for a PCV medical
• No unspent drink driving conviction in the last 10 years
• Basic Maths and English Skills
• Customer Service experience and being able to work under pressure and within a team
• 4 year work history (if there are any gaps they need to be explained on CV)
• Right to work documents
