The eWorkshops are innovative online multi-media resources available to educators who wish to collaboratively inquire into and improve their practice with multilingual learners. The eWorkshops are inquiry oriented and are guided by an essential question and a guiding question for each of the six modules in the eWorkshop.
This eWorkshop is 15 weeks long and covers 6 modules. Each module takes between 2 to 4 hours. At the end of the training, there is an online meeting scheduled on 1/6/21 from 3:00 PM-4:00 PM MST. Link to eWorkshop Schedule:

Participants will have two weeks to complete each module that focus on the following Guiding Questions:
• Module 1: What is different about teaching reading in English to bilingual students?
• Module 2: How can I use co-constructed texts to help my bilingual learners read texts with confidence?
• Module 3: How can Shared Reading help bilingual learners read and comprehend texts in English?
• Module 4: How do patterned texts help bilingual learners read and produce sophisticated, fluent text?
• Module 5: How can I help my bilingual learners develop a deep curiosity for the way language works?
• Module 6: Answer the Essential Question
