Teacher Artist Partnership+ 2024 Summer Course Enhancing arts and creativity in education in Ireland
A unique summer course that offers teachers the opportunity to explore the nature and educational value of partnerships between teachers and artists in supporting arts and creativity in education in school communities. 

Free to all primary & special school teachers. Hosted by your local full time Education Support Centre Monday 1sty July to Friday 5th July. Approved and led by the Department of Education and Education Support Centres Ireland under Creative Youth 2023-2027. 

Teacher Artist Partnership+ (TAP+) is a creativity rich summer course that supports professional development through wellbeing, relationships and creative partnership for teachers and artists /creative practitioners. Participants create, explore and collaborate to enhance arts and creativity in education through creative process, critical reflection, collaboration and enjoyment.

Please note that TAP+ Summer Course numbers are capped at 25 teacher participants.

Because of these new regulations, the National Arts in Education office is required to ensure that all data is fairly obtained and processed.  By submitting this form, you agree to receive details from NAE about TAP+ and other arts and creativity in education initiatives.

Please note: All information collected from this application will be shared with your local full-time Education Support Centre and the administrative base for the TAP+ programme: National Arts in Education, Tralee Education Support Centre.

In order to apply for a TAP+ in school residency during the summer course you first need to seek approval from your school Principal. *
Please note that each Education Support Centre will have 8 TAP+ Residencies to allocate during the summer course.

Please note: Maximum 20/25 teachers per ESC based on a first come basis.
Please select the Education Support Centre in which you wish to complete the TAP+ Summer Course.

If you would like to apply for a TAP+ Residency in the 2024 / 2025 academic year, you will need to complete the TAP+ Summer Course in your school's full-time Education Support Centre's catchment area.

Please Note: If you cannot select your local full-time Education Support Centre, please contact your local ESC to be put on their locally operated waiting list as the TAP+ summer course is currently full.
