Madison Area Spring 2021 Youth Programming Sign Up

Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30 PM starting May 5th until June 9th.

Location is to be determined based on coach availability and player responses.
We will either have a single location, likely on the east side of Madison, or will offer an east side and west side location, dependent on the number of players signing up to participate.

East Side:

Please read the location choices carefully. We will do our best to accommodate preferences for all players, but obviously cannot please everyone.

Middle school programming is open to players who are in 5th-8th grade in the 2020-21 school year.
High school programming is open to players who are in 9th-12th grade in the 2020-21 school year.

League cost will be $20. Players in need of financial assistance with this league cost should e-mail mufa.youth@gmail.com for information on scholarship/fee waivers available for this league.

Plans for the league include:
- Warm-ups to aid in injury prevention
- Individual skills/drills
- Small group, socially distanced non-ultimate disc games.

If cases, hospitalizations, and deaths are declining in Dane County and vaccination rates continue to increase we may proceed to same-team 4v4 games in later weeks of the league, or play that looks more like traditional ultimate. Players and families will receive a weekly communication on the day before league night describing what activities are planned for each week.

Players will split into pods for these activities, with each pod led by a coach. They will stick with the same pods throughout the duration of the activity. Pod size is to be determined based on numbers needed for disc games and number of sign-ups. We will do our best to accept pod-partner requests, but cannot guarantee that this will occur. I understand I am expected to supply my own hand sanitizer and use it before entering the playing field for an activity and upon exiting the playing field for activity. Coaches will assist in reminding players to use hand sanitizer.
