All men are invited to join us for a talk on the relationship between love and suffering by Father Patrick Gorman. Does love always involve suffering? What kind of happiness can one reasonably expect during earthly life? Reflecting on his experiences both as a missionary and now as a priest, Father will discuss what it means to simultaneously suffer and love. Fr. Gorman is a recently ordained priest for the archdiocese of Chicago. Post graduation from Notre Dame, Father started his career as a software engineer. Then, after a profound reversion, he learned Mandarin and spent nearly a decade as a lay missionary in China.

When: Thursday October19th - Doors open at 7:30. Talk starts at 8PM
