NorCal Summer - Quartet Entry Form
Use this form to enter the local option Quartet event in the NorCal Summer Online contest. A band may alternatively use R2 to enter a quartet in the event, if all members of the quartet are rostered members of that band. (A mixed quartet not consisting entirely of rostered members of a single band, and a 2nd/3rd/etc quartet from a given band must use this entry form.)

Quartet Events
Grade 2 MSR - Submit and play 1 set (1 M, 1 S, 1 R, each tune minimum 4 parts)
Grade 3 MSR - Submit and play 1 set (1 M, 1 S, 1 R, each tune minimum 4 parts)
Grade 4 MSR - Submit and play 1 set (4 parts of each idiom - see WUSPBA rules)
Grade 5 Quick March Medley - Submit and play 1 set (8 parts of marches, any time signature)

A quartet shall consist of three (3) pipers and one (1) snare drummer, and may also optionally include a maximum of one (1) tenor drummer and/or (1) bass drummer. The members of the quartet need not all be members of the same band. An individual may only play in one quartet.

Grading: If the members are not all from the same band, the ensemble should enter the highest band grade of its members, or may enter a lower grade if no more than one member of the ensemble is in a band of a higher grade than the event entered. (E.g., a quartet where one member is in a Grade 2 band, two are in Grade 3 bands, and one is in a Grade 4 band, should enter Grade 3 or Grade 2.) For any members who are not in bands, use their solo grades.

Quartet Entry Fee: $20

To complete your entry after submitting this entry form, you must also pay the $20 entry fee. Please pay the entry fee to WUSPBA Northern Branch via PayPal (http://paypal.me/wuspbanb) or Venmo (@wuspbanb), and please put the name of your Quartet in the memo of your payment!
