It's official, we've signed the @iwill_movement Power of Youth charter and pledged to support their vision by taking meaningful steps to make participation in social action the norm for young people under 20.
Through our youth led services for young people by young people:
π Positive collaboration. We believe young people should be at the heart of decision-making for topics that concern them or are of interest to young people. We are constantly working to ensure all young voices are being heard. We will also continue working with our board of young directors
π Opportunities for more young people from low-income and ethnic minority backgrounds to connect. We will create a safe environment for open discussions to be held, panel discussions and other forms of communications to reach young people locally and nationally.
π Working together. We will continue co-creating with young people and engaging with them by listening to their ideas and implementing them the best way possible.
π Evaluation. We will write an annual report in regards to our work with young people. Also, sharing digital feedback from young people through context, images, videos with their consent.
π Recognition. We'll celebrate the participation of young people by acknowledging them on our social media platforms, acknowledging them with certificates and inviting them to our field trips.
