For the January 9th audition, you will need to come prepared to sing about a minute of any song of your choice (Choose something you know you can sing well- whether that's your favorite song from a musical, or just Twinkle Twinkle Little Star!) You may bring a device to use for accompaniment music if you'd like, or you may sing a capella.

If we decide to do callbacks, they will be the evening of January 10.

About the show:
James is a young orphan boy who gets sent to live with his two atrocious aunts- Spiker and Sponge. When our strange narrator, Ladahlord, offers James the chance to create one magic spell, things go awry, and he ends up enlarging Spiker and Sponge's peach tree, along with five bugs (Grasshopper, Ladybug, Earthworm, Centipede, and Spider). James and the bugs set off on a fantastical journey that ends up carrying them across the entire Atlantic Ocean, and along the way, discovering what family really means.
This show has nine "lead" roles- James, Spiker, Sponge, Ladahlord, Grasshopper, Ladybug, Earthworm, Centipede, and Spider. These roles all have many lines and solos.
We also need a large ensemble! These roles can be very large or very small depending on the actor's preference. Ensemble members will not have solos, but will still do plenty of singing, dancing, and acting! Ensemble members will play townspeople, Hollywood agents, news reporters, garden animals, sharks, seagulls, and more!
