Please fill out the form below if you would like your college essay(s) to be reviewed by the Lynbrook College & Career Advisors, Mrs. Bagade and Mrs. Tang. Only students (no parents) may submit an essay for review.
We will make corrections and suggestions based on everything we know about how college admission officers read essays. We will be frank with you. If we think that your topic, however sincere, is too cliché or overused, we will suggest that you find a more original topic.
We are using Google docs for this purpose. If you are using another word editor to write your essays, please copy and paste your essay to a Google doc before submitting your request. We will make suggestions and comments directly in your Google doc. Please give us editing rights and a clean copy without comments from other reviewers.
Please DO NOT revise your essay (or ask others to review it) while we are reviewing it. Let us work on the most recent version, which you can continue to revise after we return it to you. We will do our best to complete our review within three to five days of submission. Essays are read in the order received.
