Winneconne Chamber Celebration of Lights Parade Reservation Form - 2022
PARADE RESERVATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY Sunday, December 4.  
Parade will commence at 4:30 pm on Saturday, December 10.
Submission of this form does not guarantee entry into the Winneconne Chamber Holiday Parade.
Someone from our committee will confirm receipt of your form and, if applicable, confirm your reservation within one week after submission.

Donation Amount? Winneconne Chamber members can participate in the parade at no charge. Donations of ANY AMOUNT are welcomed from all other participants. Anyone choosing to donate (Chamber members OR non-members) will be recognized as Parade Donors or Sponsors (sponsorship levels start at $100).   Please make checks to "Winneconne Chamber of Commerce" and mail to P.O. Box 126, Winneconne, WI 54986 *
Float Contest - Will your parade entry be one that you would like judged as part of the float contest? If so, please have your unit in place and ready for judging by 4 pm. *
Music - Will your parade entry will be broadcasting music? *
Song choice - What song will your parade entry be broadcasting?  (Please list top three choices) ** In an effort to enhance the viewing experience for spectators and offer a variety of entertainment, we'd prefer to not have the same song(s) be duplicated by multiple units. Song choices will be approved by the parade committee based on who reserved their chosen song first.
Louder than average - Will you parade entry include louder than average vehicle(s) or props? *
Young Children - Will your parade entry include younger children? *
Candy - Will your parade entry be distributing candy?  If so, please have people walk and toss closer to the sidewalks rather than throwing from vehicles.   *
Handouts - Will your parade be distributing other types of handouts? *
Animals - Will your parade entry include animals?  If so, please describe animals in space below.  (village ordinance requires cleanup of any animal droppings immediately) *
Unique vehicle - If your parade entry will include an antique, collector, or otherwise unique vehicle or equipment, please describe.
Vehicle(s) Type - Please describe your entry and the approximate overall length of your unit. This will help us determine the amount of space your entry will require in the line-up area. (Example: truck pulling a large trailer, appprox. 40 feet)
While we encourage handouts and candy, we want this to be a safe and enjoyable parade for everyone. We are concerned for the safety of small children running into the road after a treat and for the participating performing units (motorbikes, marching bands, stilt walkers, etc.) that could be injured by debris in the road. Please do not throw these items from your vehicle, but rather walk along the sides of the road and distribute these items directly to spectators. Thank you for helping us to keep everyone safe! *
NOTE: Spraying and/or throwing water from any parade unit is strictly prohibited. Thank you for your cooperation. *
I understand the Winneconne Area Chamber of Commerce, its board members/agents, Parade Committee, the Village of Winneconne, the Winneconne/Poygan Fire District or any other organization sponsoring or co-sponsoring the parade IS NOT RESPONSIBLE for theft, accidental loss, bodily injury or damage incurred prior to, during, or after the parade. *
While festive costumes are encouraged, NO PARADE ENTRY WILL BE PERMITTED TO INCLUDE A FULLY DRESSED SANTA OR MRS. CLAUS. There will be only one live "Santa" displayed in the parade, presented by the Chamber. This is to prevent any confusion that could be caused by young believers seeing more than one Santa in the same place. *
Lighting and/or Festive Decorations - All parade units (aside from those that cannot) should include some sort of holiday lighting or festive decorations. *
List any special requests and reason for the request. (We cannot guarantee we can meet your special requests, but we’ll try)
We will use the information you submitted on your application form to determine the line-up sequence so as to avoid conflicts with other parade units and to keep the parade interesting and safe for all ages. Do not change positions without prior approval. *
