Art of Pride: Visual Artist Workshop Series - Part 2

Art of Pride and You Belong Here invites you to Part two of a three part series of Visual Artist Workshops for LGBTQIA+ Artists! 

This FREE workshop series is for emerging LGBTQIA+ artists who are in the beginning stages of their artistic career as a resource to empower and uplift through education. Gain knowledge on topics such as grant writing, mural painting, the business side of being an artist. Be a part of a community of artists open to learning and sharing their journey and lived experiences. 

Our goal is to be a RESOURCE for you to gain valuable knowledge, techniques, and inspiration. And help you find your UNIQUE SELLING POINT by discovering and celebrating your distinctive artistic voice and to EMPOWER you to break creative barriers, build confidence, and evolve as an artist.

Workshop - Part 2 Topics:

1. "Empowering LGBTQ+ Artists Through Grant Funding" with Nicole Verdés, Managing Director of Lambda Archives

2. "Artistry in Adaptation: Navigating the Digital Landscape" with Zard Apuya, Multimedia Artist  

3. "Financial Sustainability as an Artist” with Nic Roc, Program Director of You Belong Here
