The San Mateo High School Cheerleaders pump up the spirit and crowd during football games, basketball games, rallies, and entertain the crowd during halftime shows with their cheer choreography and crazy stunts. Cheerleaders memorize many different cheers with choreography and perform throughout the entire football and basketball season. Being a cheerleader isn't just knowing how to smile -- it's working hard and getting the crowd pumped up. GOT SPIRIT?
Participation on the squad requires a positive attitude, the ability to work well with others, and maintaining a 2.0 grade point average.
