Dear Parent/Guardian,

     Thank you for choosing to enroll your child in Summer Credit Recovery 2020.  This summer, we will be providing your child an opportunity to recover credit and no fee will be charged.  The summer school credit recovery will be provided through West Virginia Virtual School - On Target Credit Recovery program. This program is completely online, so internet access will be required to complete the coursework. Students will not be coming into the school at any time this summer. These courses are taught by teachers throughout the state.

Mr. Jeff Owens will serve as the facilitator for these courses by enrolling students in the courses and monitoring student progress as reported by the teachers in WV Virtual School.

Students may begin applying for Summer Credit Recovery immediately and all courses must be completed by July 31st. An application with a valid email for the student is required and can be completed and submitted below.

Once a student is enrolled, Mr. Owens will email students their k12 email address to use for their courses. This is the email that the teachers of the courses will use to communicate with students. Students will receive an email from their teacher requesting they join the course. All assignments are submitted to this teacher and grades are assigned by the teacher. Students must check the k12 email account daily after submitting application so they may begin the coursework.

Students will be registered for one course at a time. Upon successful completion of the course, students may email Mr. Owens to request to be enrolled in another.

Courses offered are Core Subjects: Math, English, Science, Social Studies. Health may also be completed in this summer school.

Summer school may be started immediately and runs through July 31st, 2020.
