Given that this is an unprecedented and particularly stressful time - and we know that ultimate might not be front of mind - we want to provide everyone with multiple options for how involved they want to be and how much information they want to receive from us throughout the summer:
Option 1: Important Update Emails
This means that we will only send you an email with major updates regarding tryouts, tournaments, and CUC as they relate to Flurry.
Option 2: Weekly Virtual Practice Emails
Once a week, we will send out a 'virtual practice' email . These will largely be created by our coach, Al Chicoine, and might take several forms throughout the summer, including game film and analysis, breakdowns of specific on-field strategies, articles of interest, ultimate skill-specific workouts, and more. These are not intended to be required reading or to take up too much of your time, but rather to be a way to keep in touch and to keep thinking about ultimate while we can't physically practice together.
Option 3: Flurry Slack
On top of the above, we will add those who are interested to the Flurry Slack group so that you can keep in touch with your fellow players. For those who have not used it before, Slack is a messaging app, similar to WhatsApp, that you can download on your phone or access on a computer through the desktop version; it has various channels where you can post and reply to messages within the group.
