UCU Edinburgh MABbacker pledge form
Keeping our hardship fund healthy and sustainable is critical to maintaining our position and holding out for a resolution to this dispute. We are therefore asking for MABbackers to make a MABbacker pledge! This will enable our branch to support MABbers facing pay deductions at the end of June. On this form, you can pledge an amount to support the MAB, and the branch will contact you and ask you to transfer the funds if needed.  Again, our branch is asking members to pledge 1/6th (17%) of your net monthly pay for each of the next two months. 
Members agreed by vote that, if possible, donors could be reimbursed if their donations are unused and the branch committee deems this appropriate. If you feel that you would want your unused donation returned, then please only make a pledge for now. You can, of course, go ahead and transfer the money if you are happy for it to remain in the hardship fund for future use.
