"Learn AWIPS CAVE" is an asynchronous web course designed as an introduction to working with Unidata AWIPS CAVE. This course is ideal for new users of CAVE and can be used as a companion to classroom/lab activities or as employee training.

Course topics covered include:
  - Initializing CAVE and connecting to an EDEX
  - Navigating core CAVE functions
  - Loading and changing the appearance of products
  - Saving and organizing views
  - Creating plan view, time series, vertical cross section, and sounding display types

This course is designed to instruct the learner how to use CAVE and identify the appropriate workflows for different scenarios. This course does not teach atmospheric science, rather, it will provide explanations of scientific concepts as context for specific CAVE workflows and best practices.
Instructors and supervisors may request quiz results for their class/team.
