Scholarship Program & Application
Chesterfield County Council PTA (CCC PTA) is proud to sponsor our 2019-20 Scholarship Program, intended to provide extra financial assistance for students continuing their education pursuits upon graduating high school; be it going to college, entering a trade school, or another post-high school training.

Consistent with the spirit and mission of the PTA, which is a community-minded association devoted to promoting the welfare of youth and children, CCCPTA scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement as well as a demonstrated commitment to and engagement in community service. The scholarship program endeavors to recognize these important achievements.

Funds utilized to award these scholarships come from Chesterfield County; raised by Chesterfield County Council PTA, donations from school level local unit PTAs & PTSAs, and community donations.

The CCCPTA Scholarship is an outright gift. Recipients are selected by the CCCPTA based on efforts in the classroom and school & community involvement. Scholarships will be presented at the Chesterfield County Council PTA Annual Awards Dinner on May 2020 where recipients will attend to be recognized. All applicants will notify prior.  

Scholarship Applicant Qualifiers:
*Must be a graduating senior at a Chesterfield County Public Schools high school.
*Applicant or their parent must be a member of a Chesterfield County PTA or PTSA.  
*Must have an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher.
*Must complete a minimum of three (3) hours service to a PTA/PTSA unit or a community organization.

How to apply:
*Applicants (or counselor), should fill out the online application in its entirety & submit.
*Email the application submission confirmation (received at entered email address upon clicking "submit") with required recommendation letters attached to vpprograms@cccptas.com by midnight of March 31, 2020.

Your letters of recommendation and application submission confirmation should be emailed to Chesterfield County Council PTA at vpprograms@cccptas.com by midnight on March 23, 2019.
