TEP Safety Land (2nd) - Scheduling Form

Welcome to TEP Safety Land, a three-part interdisciplinary program for 2nd grade students. It addresses how to be safe around electricity in the home, school, and neighborhood. It includes a pre-visit activity and video, an interactive, one-hour multimedia class presentation conducted by an engaging presenter, and a post-visit activity. Each student receives an in-depth Safety Land Learning Guide filled with exciting activities and video links to reinforce newly acquired learning and help keep their family safe at home while also saving energy. The presentation and related activities are aligned with ADE standards. Safety Land is sponsored by Tucson Electric Power and offered free of charge to 2nd grade classes in Tucson-area schools.

All classes must rotate through one room because of the large amount of program materials. If you are scheduling for multiple days, we are happy to switch rooms at the end of the day for the next day’s presentations.

Schedule multiple presentations in a row on one day at your school. Each hour-long presentation should have a 5-minute break in between, with a longer lunch/specials break if needed.
