Description: During this lecture, theologian and Muslim Asma Claassen will talk about the hijaab and its essence. Many already have a strong opinion about the covering, partly because of the media, but what do people really know about the hijab? For example, what are the different ways/styles of covering and what does the Qur'an say about the hijaab? What do you know about the experience of a hijabi in Dutch society and what misconceptions are there about the covering? We invite you to learn all about the hijab and to get acquainted with the perspective of a reverted Muslim woman.
