Ponipet is poni-themed virtual pet device that we are developing.

The purpose of the focus group is for people outside of the project to help us evaluate our decisions on an experience level.

We will be providing members of the group the tools they need to help us evaluate the device and the experiences as we develop the product.

Please know that we are evaluating these applications on a holistic level, and that there is no objective qualifier for you to join the focus group. No single answer will qualify OR disqualify you from joining the focus group, with the exception of committing to signing an NDA. We are looking for a diverse group of people. This is NOT a test.

The focus group does not come with the privilege of dictating experience changes. We, the ponipet developers, have the final say. We are asking for help with the evaluation and testing, and while design help will be tolerated, it is not the primary intent of the focus group.

It's also important to know that we are testing the device, NOT the user.
I would commit to signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement restricting me from telling anyone about my experience with the product.
