NATIONAL TEAMS WEEK

As a member of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s ® National Teams Program, your company can play a major role in advancing the fight against this disease!

Kicking off on Monday, June 14th, the Alzheimer's Association Tennessee Chapter is hosting a week-long series of engagement events, "saluting" our local National Walk Teams for their commitment to #ENDALZ while also offering opportunities to learn more about Alzheimer's, dementia, and Walk to End Alzheimer's.

We are offering opportunities for you and your fellow employees to learn more about Alzheimer's, dementia, and Walk to End Alzheimer's. We invite you to participate in our any of these events, specifically designed for our valued National Teams!

Monday, June 14 at 10-10:30 AM EST/9-9:30 AM CST - Carry Your Flag for Alzheimer’s Kickoff - Join us to learn how your company can make the most of your National Team status, elevate your profile in the community, and meet Alzheimer’s Association staff.

Tuesday, June 15 at 12:30-1 PM EST/11:30-12 PM CST - Alzheimer’s in the Workplace: A Virtual Lunch and Learn - This program is designed to help you understand the impact Alzheimer’s has on caregivers in the workplace. Darron Kidwell, an Edward Jones employee who is currently caring for both of his parents who are living with dementia, will lead our conversation.

Wednesday, June 16 - #WhyIWalkWednesday - Help us raise awareness by sharing the story behind your company’s involvement in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s on your personal or professional social media accounts. Tag our pages — @endalztn on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter — so we can share your commitment to our cause.

Thursday, June 17 at 9:30-10 AM EST/8:30-9 AM CST - Build a National Network - Grab a cup of coffee and join us for an opportunity to connect with fellow National Teams across the southeast region!

Friday, June 18 - Go Purple for a Purpose - Engage your office in our mission by hosting a purple for a purpose day. Ask each employee to wear purple to work and make a $10 donation to your Walk to End Alzheimer’s team.
