Sessions will be selected and announced on a rolling basis.
There is a lot to love about Hutchmoot. Attendees tell the Rabbit Room that sessions are among the most enjoyable elements of the conference. Each year we work diligently to program an inspiring and diverse lineup of sessions.
And each year we receive more submissions than is possible to program. While this makes our job of selecting and scheduling sessions hard, it should not discourage you from presenting a session proposal. You have a great idea and we want to hear about it. Sometimes sessions are accepted for the year submitted and sometimes we pursue a session proposal for a future date. Other times, a session proposal opens a discussion that leads to a separate opportunity, like an event at North Wind Manor.
Also, this year the Rabbit Room is pursuing original session content for
Housemoot. Housemoot is our companion web conference to Hutchmoot that will launch the same weekend (October 10-13, 2024). But Housemoot is more than just a web conference; it is a do-it-yourself "conference kit" that enables people to create a unique moot experience with their community. While this proposal form is for Hutchmoot in Nashville, it is possible that we pursue your submission as an option for Housemoot.
As a reminder,
the Rabbit Room's mission is to cultivate and curate story, music, and art that nourishes Christ-centered communities for the life of the world. Hutchmoot is emblematic of all that the Rabbit Room does. We encourage you to consider the mission and ethos of the Rabbit Room as you develop your session proposal.
There are a lot of reasons to submit a session proposal. We encourage you to go for it!
