FPAWS Kids Kamp Volunteer Application
The Foster Parents Association of Washington State is holding a weekend of power-packed conference right in Grand Mound, WA at Great Wolf Lodge.

Starting date/time: October 16, 2022 @ 8:00AM
Ending date/time: October 17, 2022 @ 5:00PM

We are looking for high school and adult volunteers to watch, care and play with kids ranging in ages from zero to twelve. Those who are comfortable will be taking older youth to play within Great Wolf Lodge's indoor water park. While other volunteers will have the opportunity to work with younger foster kids (infants and toddlers).

We provide boarding for all volunteers at Great Wolf Lodge in single-gendered rooming-in family suits. After volunteering throughout the day, you will have the evening to spend time and fun throughout Great Wolf Lodge and spend time with friends or get to know the other amazing volunteers.

As well as boarding, we provide meals to all volunteers while under our board. As well as good food, some of these meals will be buffet style catered by Great Wolf Lodge!

You will receive 15 community service hours from the reputable nonprofit of the Foster Parents Association of Washington State (FPAWS). This comes in the form of a document signed by staff from the Foster Parents Association of Washington State (FPAWS). If you do need a form from your school filled out for community service, please bring the document to be filled out by a volunteer coordinator.

As per FPAWS conduct, we require all volunteers to complete a liability waiver prior to volunteering at any event. If you have lost your waiver, please keep in mind if you are selected to be a volunteer we will contact you prior to the event and make sure that you do have a waiver in your possession.

We ask all volunteers to keep in mind we reserve the right to verify that all volunteers not bring any of the following to the event: any smoking/vaping paraphernalia, drug paraphernalia, alcohol, marijuana (including marijuana-enriched products) and any illegal substances are strictly prohibited, animals, restraining devices (e.g., handcuffs, zip ties) or any suspicious items (e.g., box cutters, razor blades, duct tape, wire), weapons of any kind or object that appear to be weapons (toy guns, toy blasters, squirt guns, etc.), or self-defense equipment (e.g., pepper spray, mace, stun guns). In other terms if you cannot bring it to school or Disneyland you cannot bring it to this event at Great Wolf Lodge! If anyone is found with any of the items above will be removed from the FPAWS volunteer program immediately and will not be given community service hours.

We are so excited that you are applying! And encourage you to have your friends apply too, there is nothing more fun than volunteering with your friends!

By submitting this application you acknowledge contesting and abide by all organization rules and liability waivers.

If any potential volunteers or parents/guardians of any potential volunteers have any questions regarding the event and volunteer opportunity, please feel free to contact FPAWS below:
