PRIVATE bus transportation is available to Notre Dame from several area towns.  Exact information regarding which towns will be covered and routes within the particular towns will be determined by the transportation needs of our student body. In 2023-24, centralized pickup locations will be utilized on several routes. Individualized pickups may not be available.

• In an attempt to make your child’s commute to Notre Dame more convenient, the school provides bus transportation from area towns where public transportation is not available and/or not easily accessible.
• Routes and schedules are determined by student addresses.  Routes are adjusted each year.
• The cost of bus transportation is $1,500.00 per year – 4 payments of $ 375.00 in August, October, January and April (one way or round trip is the same cost)  

Fairfield: The Town of Fairfield provides busing for town residents.

Bridgeport: The Greater Bridgeport Transit Authority buses drop off and pick up students on the corner of Park Ave. & Jefferson Street.  Routes, schedules and other information are available at the school and from the transit district.  Student bus tickets currently cost $30.00 per month.  This cost is always subject to change.  Tickets are available at Notre Dame.

Parents drive their children to school.  Many students drive to school.

Please note: Should a student stop utilizing this service during the school year, families are responsible for the entire transportation amount due during that semester ($750 per semester).

If the number of students for a bus route is not sufficient, the route may be cancelled.
