Feel Good Vibes is a live virtual DJ experience where you have permission to escape reality.  Based in the psychology of music and ranging in music genres and decades, you will perceive positive emotions due to the musical elements (tempo, melodic contour & mode) of each song.  You will hear songs that you are familiar and unfamiliar with, but music is a universal language.  It is also an opportunity to explore new music and spark conversations amongst budding relationships.  You are welcome to sing-along or listen to the music in the background as you perform another task, but most importantly, it is an opportunity to live your best life.  Welcome to my party!

Kelsey Uyeda is a fourth generation Japanese American.  She received her Masters of Science Gerontology degree from California State University, Long Beach (Class of 2020) and her Bachelor of Arts Music degree and Single Subject Teaching Credential K—12: Music from the University of California, Los Angeles (Class of 2014).  She created the Tutti: Music and Physical Activity Curriculum for Older Adults for her masters program.  Kelsey is a former professional trombonist having performed in Carnegie Hall, Rose Bowl Stadium, Royce Hall, Freud Playhouse, Renee & Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall and Disneyland.  She previously worked for Pacific Symphony and the Irvine Unified School District.  Kelsey is currently a freelance gerontologist creating virtual and at-home activities for older adults during the COVID-19 era and is an instructor for OLLI@CSULB teaching a course she created: Older Adults in Pop Culture
