Registration forms for Tishk International University's "1st National Workshop on Automation and simulation with PLC / MATLAB for solar energy in mobility" organized in collaboration of Mechatronics and Computer Engineering departments

Day 1 (28-4-2019):
Session 1: MATLAB workshop: Simscape (10:00 AM - 12:30 PM)

--> In this session, an introduction to MATLAB and its different features will be explained, SIMULINK applications along with a comparison and contrast with Simscape will also be covered.
In the hands-on session, the attendees will learn to interact with the MATLAB tool and apply it effectively through interactive exercises and tutorials.

Session 2: Solar Energy Workshop (1:30 PM - 2:30 PM)

--> In this session the equivalent circuit of the PV cells is analysed in partial shading situations together with a simscape simulation for comparison purposes.


Day 2 (29-4-2019):
Session 3: Automation Workshop: Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM)

-->  in this session, the attendees will be getting an introduction on Automation, PLC and Ladder Programming Logic Gates as well Switches and Sensors. Attendees will also get familiar with Siemens Soft Comfort Package and will get some exercises on: Basic Logic Gates Representation in Ladder Programming, Motor Start/Stop with Seal-in Rung and Timers in Ladder Programming
The hands-on session will cover Siemens Logo 8 Soft Comfort.

Session 4: Electric Vehicle Projects: Opportunities and Challenges (1:30 PM - 2:30 PM)

--> In this session, an ntroduction to Solar Vehicle ,Solar electric vehicle projects · Overview of SAE international, ISIE Racing contest (BAJA All terrain vehicle, ESVC Gokart,etc) · Study of design Rule book (Design Guide lines)
