Barkhamsted Recreation's Christmas and Holiday Crafts and Cards (Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at the Old Hitchcock Building in Riverton. 13 Riverton Road-Riverton) Children will make a variety of fun crafts, cards and have individually packaged snacks. Cost is $5.00 per participant for the Craft/present making workshop. Please bring exact amount so contact is reduced for safety (There will also be a surprise visit from the North Pole from 2:30-3:45 p.m. in front of the Riverton Firehouse after the Christmas Craft Workshop. We hope everyone will stop by and get their picture with Santa and the Riverton Fire Truck!! (All children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult family member-helping ensure social distancing all while having fun) Please bundle up and wear lots of layers as the Santa visit will be held outside. We ask everyone to check their temperature before coming to the event and if you or your child have a temperature, over 100 please do not attend. Also, please do not attend if you are feeling ill or you, your family or any close contacts are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19. Thank you for helping with following all the necessary safety guidelines. We are looking forward to seeing you at the Christmas in Riverton Event 2021. Photos from the Craft Workshop and Santa visit will be posted on the Town of Barkhamsted Facebook page after the event. FRCC JR. River Ranger Booklets will also be available at the event.

PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE: I understand that for promotional purposes only, the Town of Barkhamsted photographs, and/or records video of participants enrolled in recreational activities, classes or at special events. I hereby release and permit the Town of Barkhamsted to utilize for said promotional purposes any photographs and/or videotapes of me or my minor child engaging in the above-listed recreational activities.

I understand and accept that Barkhamsted Recreation relies on the honesty and truth of all of the program participants that they are not doing so while they, or any member of their household are sick or are feeling COVID-19 symptoms. FEE AND INFO ABOUT PRE-Registration

All participants must pre-register. No walk-ins the day of the event will be allowed. Please only register if you know that your family will be attending. The $5.00 Fee per participant will be collected at the event. Please bring the exact fee to help make the registration run smoothly. The Event will be held rain or shine (only a severe storm would cancel the event). In the event of a severe weather cancellation, registrants will be contacted and there will be a post on the Town of Barkhamsted Facebook page. Please dress warmly, everyone is required to wear a mask and social distance. (in the event that you cannot attend the event after you register, please email Donna Bastrzycki- barkhamstedrec@barkhamsted.us so we can take any families that may be on the waiting list) Thank you, looking forward to seeing you and your family at the event!
