Join Central Eastside Together for a Trauma-Informed Care In Action training with Juliana Wallace, LCSW. This is Part 2 in a 2 Part series.

Please keep in mind, that only those that attend Part 1 or who have participated in a foundations course previously are eligible to participate in Part 2.

Part 1: TIC Foundations: Trauma Informed Care is used in many settings to provide a framework for understanding trauma in our communities. Learn the principles, overview of the science, and develop an understanding of how to define Trauma Informed Care. This training will draw from experiences in crisis, lack of housing, and the intersection of mental health and substance use.

Part 2: TIC In Action: A follow up training to TIC Foundations where we build on the concepts to what it looks like in our day to day. We will explore how our communication can be grounded in a trauma informed framework and use scenarios to walk through the complexity of this approach.
