Dear Student:

If you would like to apply for membership in the Roland Chapter of the National Honor Society, you need to:


• Be a junior or senior

• Have a 3.5 or better GPA (non-weighted,
       cumulative  from ninth  
       grade to the present---Mrs. Benefield has a
       list of students with qualifying GPA)

• Fill out the attached application

• Submit (by separate email) one letter of recommendation
       This may NOT be from a family
    member or school personnel.

• Submit application and letter of recommendation to Mrs. Benefield by Friday, April 30th (applications will not be received after 3:20 p.m.)


 If selected, GPA must be maintained at a 3.5 and 15  hours of community service is required---5 in each of the first three 9 weeks.

 The faculty council will meet for selection
        determination and you will be notified by mail
        if you have or have not been accepted.
