TTRPG Freelance Artist/Cartographer Survey
This anonymous survey by EN World (www.enworld.org) is designed to gather information about TTRPG industry norms. 

Several years ago we gathered information on industry freelance rates. This survey is intended to update that information to current rates. You are not asked to identify yourself or the companies you have worked for, although we (optionally) ask you to categorize the type of publisher.

You can take this survey multiple times to reflect different pay rates for different jobs throughout 2023.

Pay rates are per word and in USD, so please convert as needed. Please keep the data to pay you have received in 2023 only.

The results will be published publicly to help freelancers independently evaluate their pay rates.

We are surveying other freelancers such as writers and other creators separately.

Pay Rates
This section of the survey asks you about the rate you were paid for the work in USD. Remember you can retake the survey for multiple jobs.

If it was a single piece, please simply answer for that piece of art.

If it was a commission for a whole batch of art, you may need to do some math--sorry! For a batch, please work out the rate per piece you were paid. So that we can standardize these numbers, please consider a batch to be measured in QUARTER PAGE pieces and divide accordingly. So if the batch was 2 full pages and 8 quarter pages, that's 16 quarter pages. Take the amount you were paid for the batch and divide by 16.
