The goal is to get the SSSC together to spend 3 dedicated days towards preparing for the start of Rubin Operations. After a series of introductory talks, discussions about future LSST follow-up, participants will break into working groups to work on mini-projects (ranging from software development to proposal writing). We plan to have simulated catalogs of LSST Solar System detections available at the Sprint.
Due to connection limits we'll be limiting the Sprint to 100 people.
The sprint will be 3 sequential days in June:
June 7 5pm-9:30pm BST (12pm-4:30pm EDT; 9am-1:30pm PDT)
June 8 5pm-9:30pm BST (12pm-4:30pm EDT; 9am-1:30pm PDT)
June 9 5pm-9:30pm BST(12pm-4:30pm EDT; 9am-1:30pm PDT)
There will also be an Optional Day 0 for new SSSC members and early career SSSC members: June 6 5pm-9:30pm BST (12pm-4:30pm EDT; 9am-1:30pm PDT)
There is no registration fee.
