The fellowship will be awarded to a high school or college student who has:

-Demonstrates interest in local public office
-Demonstrates interest in public service career
-Demonstrates interest in increasing the number of women of color in leadership roles within government – both as elected officials and as staff

Self-identified women and women of color are strongly encouraged to apply.
