The time has come to nominate and elect your School Leadership Team parent representatives for the upcoming school year 2023-2025. This team will help give you an insight with many of the events going on within the school. Also you can be part of making some important decisions to help  better the school. Please note that in order to be nominated and to be eligible to vote you must be a parent of a child attending P.S. 108K.
 Parent is defined as birth or adoption parent, step-parent, legally appointed guardian, foster parent, and “person in parental relation” to a child currently attending a school.
 A “person in parental relation” is someone who has assumed the care of a child because the child’s parents or guardians are not available, whether due to, among other things, death, imprisonment, mental illness, living outside the state, or abandonment of the child.

 El padre se define como padre biológico o de adopción, padrastro, tutor legal, padre de crianza, y "persona en relación paternal" a un niño que asiste actualmente a una escuela.
 Una "persona en relación paternal" es alguien que ha asumido el cuidado de un niño porque los padres o tutores del niño no están disponibles, ya sea debido, entre otras cosas, por muerte, por encarcelamiento, enfermedades mentales, que viven fuera del estado, o el abandono del niño.
