A part of the larger network of the National Writing Project, the SoFlo Writing Project seeks to provide professional development opportunities and support for teachers in South Florida. The SoFlo Writing Project supplies resources, access, and community for writing-centered discussion, pedagogical exploration, and justice-oriented research that can be engaged both inside and outside of the classroom.

This form is intended to gather your contact information for future notices related to applying to participate in the upcoming institute and to gather your district/principal information to guarantee inservice points and other professional development acknowledgements.

The tentative summer institute schedule is as follows:

July 8-18, 2024

9:00 AM -3:00 PM, Monday – Thursday with occasional community events off campus.
