The Johnson Ranch Barracudas expectation is that each swimmer competes in a
minimum of 2 League Dual Meets AND our
NCSL Conference Championships ("Champs") in order to participate on the team. We count on every swimmer to compete for the team & parents to fulfill volunteer shift obligations during the season and at League Championships.
The Barracudas are required to provide volunteers for our League Championships based on our registered team size, regardless whether swimmers attend Champs or not. Consequently, each family on the Barracudas is required to volunteer for 2 shifts at the League Championships meet. Each family missing the Champs meet puts additional volunteer responsibilities on the other Team families on top of their standard requirement.
If you cannot attend the League Championships for any reason we will still need to have your shifts covered and you will be required to make up shifts during the season to offset those shifts.
We understand that there are potential conflicts that can occur and will try to work with you to accommodate your circumstances.
